Privacy and cookie policy

The purpose of this privacy policy is to help you gain an understanding of what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. This is important in order for us to comply with the conditions set out in the new personal data ordinance (GDPR) which came into force on 25 May 2018.

1. Personal data – What we collect and why

When using our contact form we collect certain personal information: your name, mail, and/or phone number. We collect this information in order to answer your inquiry. We reserve the right to retain your personal information until your inquiry has been completed.   

To the extent that personal information about you is processed, you have the right to get informed which personal data is attributed to you according to the Personal Data Act. If it appears that the personal data about you is incorrect or misleading, you are entitled to require these corrected, deleted, or blocked. You can always object to any information about you being processed. You may also revoke your consent at any time. You have the possibility to complain about the processing of information and data regarding you.

Like many other websites, this website uses cookies. Cookies enable us to deliver a better user experience with regards to the website’s functions. Many functions on the website are reliant upon the storage and use of cookies, and therefore you cannot expect the website to work properly if you decide to disable cookies.

1.3 Contact forms

Should you choose to contact us by using a contact form on our website, your data will be stored in our backend and collected together in an email, which will then be sent to us via SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).

If applicable, the data in the email will be transferred to our CRM system. The data will then be connected to an existing account with a similar email or it will be established as a new contact.

3. Data breaches

We will report any illegal data violations of this website’s database by one of our third-party data processers to all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours from the time of the breach in cases where it appears that personal data that has been stored in an identifiable way has been stolen.

5. Right to access and right to be forgotten

We continuously delete data on inactive customers and we only store your data for as long as we need to in order to fulfill the purpose for which the data were originally collected.

You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Please contact us if you wish to withdraw your consent, request access to your personal data that is stored in our databases, or if you would like to have your personal data deleted from our databases. We will respond to your request without undue delay (and in all cases within one month from receipt of your request; although this can be extended for difficult cases).
